SURFE²R transporter cell lines
Stable cell-lines are essential tools for research and drug screening. Increasing automation within drug discovery process means that cell lines must be adapted to the corresponding hardware.
IonGate’s biosensor-based SURFE²R™ technology provides cell-line generation, specifically for transporter-expressing cells.
Starting with a special sensor preparation, based on whole cells, SURFE²R technology provides the advantages of rapid and functional clone-picking and selection. Additionally, the resulting clones and derived membrane material can be selected according to the level of protein-specific activity and are optimized for use with the SURFE²R technology.
A team of highly skilled scientists and technicians carries out all molecular biology and cell-culturing techniques necessary in the aforementioned studies. Projects are conducted according to specific customer demands and IonGate considers regular consultations to be an essential part of a successful partnership.
Standard techniques such as fluorescence measurements or conventional electrophysiology are also available in order to generate other types of cell lines.
